St. Joseph’s company is expanding

The parent company of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Center on Conant is expanding.
Olympia Group Healthcare Network, which operates St. Joseph’s as well as three other facilities, recently acquired the Ambassador Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, a 176-bed facility near Belle Isle.
The Ambassador offers a variety of services, including – but not limited to — recovery help for those suffering from orthopedic injuries, fractures, dislocations and hip and knee replacement.
Company officials say big changes will come in the next six months, including renovations to resident rooms and the installation of state-of-the-art therapy equipment.
For residents at St. Joseph’s, this means more resources will be available to help improve their overall quality of life.
